“ALL THINGS WILL SUCCEED IN THE LORD”

“You can do everything in Me, and everything will work out if only you remain in Me and live this love.” (Inner word)

We know Jesus’ words: “Apart from me you can do nothing,” (Jn 15,5) and they lead us to humble self-awareness. The above words are a continuation of Jesus’ previous statement. They show us how we can do everything by trusting in God. The condition is remaining in our Father—that is, in His will, following the subtle promptings of His Spirit, and nurturing inner communion with our Father. Here the emphasis is on remaining. Our relationship with our Father is meant to become a peaceful flow of grace in our lives. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this relationship becomes ever more refined so that even the slightest deviation from love and the intimacy associated with it becomes perceptible. This compels us to overcome such situations immediately.

In Madre Eugenia’s Little Book of the Father, God assures us that when we fall due to weakness, we can always be renewed in the bath of His love. Thus the path is open for us to seek refuge in His love whenever we stray.

Although the parable of the Prodigal Son celebrates the return of the sinner with great joy, it is the son who remained at home who maintained the naturalness of his relationship with his Father. The Father said to him, “Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.” (Luke 15:31)

We should live this love with such naturalness. In this unity, all the fruits that glorify God and serve humanity will grow. With this love, we will be able to accomplish anything and succeed!
