Lk 4,31-37
He went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and taught them on the Sabbath. And his teaching made a deep impression on them because his word carried authority. In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean devil, and he shouted at the top of his voice, ‘Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God.’ But Jesus rebuked it, saying, ‘Be quiet! Come out of him!’ And the devil, throwing the man into the middle, went out of him without hurting him at all. Astonishment seized them and they were all saying to one another, ‘What is it in his words? He gives orders to unclean spirits with authority and power and they come out.’ And the news of him travelled all through the surrounding countryside.
The Lord came to destroy the works of the devil, those works of evil that seek to rob man of what is given to him from God: To live a life of grace close to God, to lead a fruitful life as a child of him and to be a co-worker of God and to be with God and His own for eternity!
With the coming of the Lord, the hour of judgement for demons is revealed! They must go and can no longer hold on to people! As the scriptures say: A stronger one has come (cf. Lk 11,22)!
This should be made even clearer to us believers, because it is also our mission to realise the victory of the Lord on earth, i.e. to make it present! The powers of darkness are already defeated! Whenever the Lord comes, the darkness has to go, i.e. when the Lord lives in us and His light works in us, then the light spreads and the demons are threatened!
We can take action against the forces of evil in various prayers and should do so especially in these days of confusion in the Church! The prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, for example, the Rosary and many other spiritual weapons must now be used more often by the faithful, so that the shadow which currently weighs on the Church must give way!
To make it even clearer: the demons must be driven out! This is not only the task of the priests, but every believer can help to spread the light of the Lord.
In the past I have written meditations on Lucifer’s attempts to deceive (see: Daily Meditations August 18-22, 2020). We are not simply delivered at these powers, but are called to resist in the Lord. In this way our personal faith is also strengthened.
Again and again it is necessary to remember that in spiritual warfare we have to fight above all “against the principalities and the ruling forces who are masters of the darkness in this world, the spirits of evil in the heavens” (Eph 6,12), i.e. with the fallen angels, the demons! They are the ones who incite man to evil and always try to deceive man and involve him in some way in their rebellion against God!
When we look at the state of the world, we know how far away from God people often are and how much they are already under the influence of dark forces, even if they themselves do not even notice it.
But from whom should they hear the message of the Lord, if not from us?
Certainly God can and does intervene directly in people’s lives, but the ordinary way he chooses is through the church. First the church must be purified, then it can proclaim the Gospel to people with renewed strength and credibility. The present bizarre situation of the pandemic is a call to conversion. Conversion means to respond to God’s call and to put his life before him in perfect order. Unfortunately, this is rarely heard, although it is a call that must be urgently heard from the top of the Church to reach all members of her!
But it does not happen!
But this must not paralyse the faithful and they must take responsibility themselves if the pastors do not precede them.
On their own behalf:
In this context I would like to point out that in 2008 I launched a spiritual resistance movement against the Antichrist, or rather the spirit of the Antichrist, called “Balta-Lelija”. “Balta Lelija” means “white lily” and refers to the Mother of God and also to St. Jeanne d`Arc, who is the patron saint of Balta-Lelija.
On 30 May 2008, a foundation charter was offered in Jerusalem at the Holy Cross and Holy Sepulchre of Jesus, as well as in Vilnius, Lithuania, at the place of the “Mater Misericordia”; in Domrémy, France, at the Baptistery of St. Joan d’Arc; in Sto. Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador, in the chapel of the Agnus Dei Community; in the crypt and the Völkerkapelle of the Frauenberg Monastery in Bodman-Ludwigshafen, Germany; and in Congo, also by members of the Agnus Dei Community.
On 18 July 2019, in Jerusalem, Ecuador, Congo and Germany, the founding act was renewed by members of the Agnus Dei Community.
So far – besides the constant prayers and different actions – I have only written texts to describe more clearly the work of anti-Christian powers. But now another period has begun.
Perhaps some of you – over and above the desire for information – feel that they are being addressed by God and that they want consciously participating in such spiritual resistance, if they clearly perceive the threatening situation of the world and the Church. The time for this has come.
For such closer cooperation it is necessary to internalise some aspects of this struggle more closely, for this struggle is not being waged against people, but against “princes and powers”.
