“A child will be born to us; they will call him ‘Mighty God’” (cf. Is 9:5).
“In him all the nations of the earth will be blessed” (cf. Gen 22:18).
In reality, even without knowing it, all men await Him,
because we have been created for Him.
In reality, even without knowing it, all men seek Him,
because He has placed this longing in their hearts.
In reality, even without knowing it, all people can find Him,
because “Every one who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Mt 7:8).
In reality, even without knowing it, all people love Him,
because, in turn, they are loved by Him.
In reality, even without knowing it, all men seek a home,
because they are called to live in the family of God.
In reality, even without knowing it, all men seek true peace,
because their Redeemer is the “Prince of Peace” (cf. Is 9:5).
Why do they not know this?
Has no one told them?
Or have they not heard?
Therefore, listen, everyone:
“A Child is born to us in Bethlehem.”
He is the One you are waiting for;
He is the One you are seeking;
He is the One who allows Himself to be found by you;
He is the One you love;
He is your home;
He is your peace…
Even more:
He is the One who waits for you;
He is the One who seeks you;
He is the One who finds you;
He is the One who loves you;
He is the One who wants to dwell in you;
He is the Prince of Peace…
So don’t waste any more time!
God has been waiting for you for so long!
In Him you will be blessed!
