“HE IS ALWAYS OUR FATHER”

“I come from God, my Father, and I return to Him, for I belong to Him alone” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).

If we look closely at these three statements, we will see that they express all the mysteries of our life. No one but our Heavenly Father has given us life and made us sharers in His infinite love. No one but He could call us into existence out of nothing. Therefore, from the moment of creation, every person is called to be a messenger of God’s love and a child of His grace—to be His child.

When our time comes to leave this world, we will return to God. Where else could we go? Where else could we find our eternal home if not with Him? There, where time no longer exists and evil has no place, we will worship in eternal contemplation the One who created, redeemed, and sanctified us. “Lord, to whom shall we go?” Peter said to Jesus, “You have the words of eternal life” (Jn 6:68).

Our Father wants us with Him in eternity, and He desires to dwell in our hearts here on earth as well.

We are still on our journey, yet we have already arrived at the Father’s love. He has laid His hand upon us and said, “You are Mine” (cf. Is 43:1). That is our certainty, and therefore nothing can separate us from the love of Christ (cf. Rom 8:39). We belong to Him alone; no one else can possess us. We are His property, redeemed from the slavery of sin at the price of the Lamb’s blood.

Our Heavenly Father will accompany and watch over us throughout our pilgrimage in this world. God does not want you or me to be condemned. That is the kind of Father He is.
