“I am among you. Happy are those who believe this truth and who take advantage of this time.” (Book of the Father)
How would life change if we put these words of our Father into practice? Believing in God’s general presence in this world and that He holds all things in His hands is important, but it is not enough.
This statement also refers to God’s concrete and loving guidance in the life of every person. Through faith, a glimpse already opens up—one that will become full vision in eternity. And that has a profound impact.
When we are aware of God’s loving presence, no moment is left to the mere course of events. We must always reconnect with our Father’s presence and hold fast to it in faith, even when we feel empty inside.
But our heavenly Father is saying even more to us. We are blessed when we believe this truth and put it into practice.
What does our heavenly Father mean?
We are to work for our own salvation and for the salvation of others. God’s living presence imparts a different quality to our existence. It is not primarily determined by our human impulses and needs; rather, it is oriented toward God. His presence is decisive—His guidance, His desire to draw people to Himself, His love, and His grace.
We must recognize the great difference between living our lives with faith in God’s tangible presence—acting upon it and fulfilling our responsibilities—and merely being generally aware of it without allowing it to penetrate and shape our lives deeply.
However, if we live as our Father intended, we will have the best possible conditions to make the most of our time on earth and to bear fruit!
