“THE CONVERSION OF EVEN THE MOST STUBBORN”

“The knowledge that God their Maker is their Father as well would obtain the conversion of the most stubborn ones, and these conversions would be numerous and persevering.” (Message from God the Father to Sister Eugenia Ravasio).

Following on from my reflection yesterday, our Father speaks of those souls who are still caught up in superstition—who call out to Him and know that He exists, but do not have a true knowledge of God. Telling them that there is a loving Father who cares for them, stands by them in their suffering and despair, and surrounds them with great love would surely touch their hearts, provide an answer to their search, and lead them out of their wandering ways.

It is indeed love that can do all things, that can melt the ice around hearts, and that pierces through confusion. People often do not know this love or know it too little. Yet the tenderness of our Father’s love can reach them because they were created for Him, and when they encounter it, they will awaken.

It goes without saying that we ourselves should be imbued with this love of our Father if we are to become witnesses to those who do not yet know the true faith. What could be more convincing than when our words and deeds are in harmony and our whole being bears witness to love?

Likewise, it is essential that we truly know our faith so that we can reach out to others and help them walk an authentic path of following Christ. Love for our divine Father is united with the truth He has entrusted to His Church. It tolerates no distorting modernism that settles like a fog over the faculty of reason and obscures the holy faith.

True, numerous, and lasting conversions—even among the most stubborn! What a grace and joy this would be for our Father!
